WSET Level 1 and Level 2 in Wine Classes in Hartford - Deadlines for Sign-up Approaching

New England Wine Academy is offering two sessions this October and November (2019), for WSET qualifications in Wine. Classes will be held at the Thomas Hooker Brewery at Colt in Hartford, CT.




Wine and Spirits Education Trust Level 1 Award in Wine will be offered on Saturday October 26th, in a single session that includes the course material and exam, as well as the opportunity to taste six wine styles and learn about proper service, storage and food & wine pairings. Class runs from 9am to 5pm, with breaks and lunch. The day concludes with a short exam to test your knowledge. This is a fun class for anyone who is new to wine but wants to move ahead with some great knowledge and understanding of what's in the glass.
Deadline for registration is midnight on Sunday October 13th.

Wine and Spirits Education Trust Level 2 Award in Wine will be offered on Saturday and Sunday November 2/3. This traditional, in-person class covers the 16 hours of required instruction time, and will need to be complimented with an additional 12 hours of study on your own. The exam date for this session is Saturday November 16th. This is a great class for those that are familiar with wine but want to take their knowledge to the next level. Learn to taste and understand wine from a professional evaluation format where the focus is understanding and assessing quality in a wine. You will also get a perspective on the world of wine through tasting of over 40 wines in a fully structured lesson plan. This is a great qualification for anyone currently employed in or looking to join the drink industry.
