Hybrid Classes
These classes are offered via the web as a virtual class. You have an instructor guiding you through the course material with set sessions, typically on a weekly basis, depending on the course. The benefit here is that you are interacting with a live instructor for the duration of the course, even if the class is virtual. Exams can be taken either in-person or via Remote Invigilation.
Fully Online Classes
These classes are offered via WSET's online platform, Canvas. The courses begin and end at a set point, with an exam date scheduled after the close of the class date. The benefit to this format is that you can logon and work through the course modules at your pace during the duration of the course. There are no live classes to make, but there is a certified instructor attached to each course, and they give feedback to quizes, tasting notes and other questions.
Customized Programs
New England Wine Academy also works with many corporate groups, including wholesale distributors and educational providers. We tailor the program to your needs and around your schedule, often working with a combination of the online, virtual and in-person program.
