WSET Level 1 Spirits
Offered in-person one session:

Location - Worldwide Wine & Spirits, 480 Queen St., Southington, CT 06489
Students are asked to arrive at 9am, for the 9:15pm start
Class will finish at approximately 4pm
The exam has three associated options scheduled as follows:
- In-Person Exam - Nov 3, 2024 - this will be held at the end of the class session
- Online Exam - Dec 7, 2024 - 9:30am ET
- In-Person Exam - Dec 7, 2024 - 9:30am ET (Hartford)
The enrollment registration deadline is Oct 13, 2024
Students may enroll and join the class up to Oct 20, but there will be a late registration fee of $25, and your exam will have to be scheduled for one of the Dec 7 dates.

- This Level 1 class will be hosted at - Worldwide Wine & Spirits, 480 Queen St., Southington, CT 06489.
- This is a on-day session - class date (listed above), and the final exam will be administered at the end of the class session (other options are available).
- Students registering after Sep 15, must select the late registration fee option, otherwise we will not process the registration until completed.
- All WSET course material is included and is available when you begin your course.
- If you select the optional Brainscape access code offer, we will send this to you usually within 48 hours of your enrollment and you can begin to study right away.
- This session will involve multiple tastings as part of the lesson plan.
- The class will cover all material needed to be successful on the exam, but some students may opt for the later exam date in order to give themselves additional time to prepare. Each person has their own path to successfully completing the qualification exam.

- The course enrollment includes one exam attempt - either in-person or via remote process - options are listed above.
- Exam dates are set based on the established time frame of each class, but you do have up to 1 year from the course start date to take the exam.
- If you wish for an alternative exam date, please contact New England Wine Academy to discuss exam dates other than the date associated with your course, prior to the final registration deadline.
- Please note, cancelling or rescheduling an exam after the registration deadline, will result in a $35 administrative charge.
- Cancelling or rescheduling an exam within 16 working days of the exam date will result in the $35 administrative fee plus a new exam fee (this is the same as the re-sit fee for your respective class and exam type), and you will be offered a future exam date per our established schedule. We apologize for this inconvenience but WSET is fairly strict with its registration deadlines and these time frames are out of our control.
- We work with our students to ensure they are aware of all dates, but please mark your calendars with all relevant dates/times. Let us know as early as possible if you are unable to make an exam for any reason.
- Level 1 classes are available for either in-person or online invigilation (exams) - please select above when checking out.
- The online course is delivered in person by Brian Mitchell, certified WSET educator and Advanced Sommelier.
