Bordeaux can be intimidating for any wine enthusiast and even for the pros. Yet, at the same time, the wines are incredibly approachable when you get to know them. Even better, the wines are not that hard to understand, as they are quite familiar once you know just a little about the region.
This class helps to break down the Bordeaux wine region and in no time you will have a good knowledge of the basics, such as geography, climate, grapes, winemaking and the appellation system.
We will then focus on some great value wines from right-bank producers as we taste through a selection of wonderful wines, together.
Led by wine expert and Sommelier-Instructor, Brian Mitchell, this class will give anyone the confidence to shop for and enjoy wines from Bordeaux.
The course is limited to 100 participants and will be delivered via Zoom. Once you have registered a link will be sent to you approximately 72 hours before the course.
The class is Tuesday, February 23, 2021
7pm to approximately 8:30pm - or when we get done talking

Some notes on this webinar...
Tickets are available to anyone, but must be 21 or over to purchase and consume alcohol.
Wines for this class are available to purchase from our retail partner, The Wise Old Dog Wines and Spirits. They are currently offering the wines as part of a set package with a very special price to help you get to know Bordeaux just a little bit better. These wines are affordable and delicious, but you do not need to open all of the bottles on the night of the class (that's a lot of bottles to have open mid-week). WE will be opening and tasting them as part of the webinar so that you have all the notes and can ask any questions. A link to the webinar recording will be made available to all participants post-presentation.
Please click here and follow this link to view wine options and to purchase the Bordeaux Rouge Bottle Sampler.
Wines for the class can be available to purchase as a preset pack throughout the month of February, but it is strongly encouraged to order earlier than later and pick-up by Tuesday, February 23.
